UNESCO World Heritage Site The Grand Place is surrounded by magnificent structures that were built and renovated towards the end of the 17th century. These are the trade guilds and corporations of Brussels' rich past. The magnificent City Hall dates from the early 15th century (1402) and dominates the Plaza.
The Brussels Grand Palce is generally considered to be the most beautifull plaza in the world, and so is classified as an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Whoever has stood before its historic façades has brone witness to its timeless beauty.
