Word for the wise: Driving in Brussels tends to be very difficult for foreigners due to a lack of parking space, traffic signs and the tendency of the locals to drive fast. You will also be reminded that there is always priority for the car coming from the right, even when it has fully stopped.
Due to city regulations, the Hotel does not have a private parking. A public parking "Parking Grand'Place", guarded and open 24/7 is located 50 meters from the hotel. The daily rate is 13,50 euro.
(subject to change without prior notice)
When you arrive by train from London, Paris, Cologne (Köln) or other major capital cities outside Belgium, your high speed THALYS, TGV, EUROSTAR or ICE train will stop at only one station in Brussels: "Brussel-Zuid/Bruxelles-Midi". From there it is easy to take a taxi to our Hotel. A typical taxi ride would be around 10 minutes and will cost you maximum 10,00 euro.
If you prefer using public transportation, you can change - free of charge with your international high speed train ticket (only valid on day of arrival or departure) - onto a local train. Take a train that stops at "Brussel-Centraal/Bruxelles-Central". Trains come almost every two minutes. At the Central Station take the Main Exit next to the ticket counters. Cross the street and walk under Hotel Le Meredien. Take the second street to your right (after a little chappel). Hotel Le Dixseptième is located at your left-hand-side at number 25. This would be a 5 minute walk.

By plane (Brussels Airport)
From the airport you can take a taxi to the Hotel. Taxis are located outside the Arrival's Hall of the Airport. A taxi ride will take between 20 and 40 minutes (depending on traffic) and the cost will be around 25,00 euro. Alternatively, you can take public transportation. The fastest and cheapest way to get to the hotel is to take the train. Trains leave 4 times each hour (from 5:00am till 00:15am) and departe from Level -4. The train ride will take approximately 15-25 minutes. Get off the train at "Brussel-Centraal/Bruxelles-Central" (Do NOT get off at "Brussel-Noord/Bruxelles-Nord). At the Central Station take the Main Exit next to the ticket counters. Cross the street and walk under Hotel Le Meredien. Take the second street to your right (after a little church). Hotel Le Dixseptième is located at your left-hand-side at number 25. This would be a 5 minute walk.

ATTENTION !
Ryanair (and several other low-budget airlines) do not fly directly to Brussels, but to "Brussels South Charleroi". This Airport is in the city of Charleroi, some 50km South of Brussels. From there, you can take either a bus directly to Brussels (1h), or a bus to the train station of Charerloi-Sud (10min) from where you can take a direct train to Brussels (40min). Trains from Charleroi stop also in Brussels-Central (closest train station to the Hotel). Car hire is available.
