Jazz lovers must certainly come to Brussels in January! This month is entirely dedicated to Jazz. Not less than 3 festivals of different genres of jazz music will take place this monthein the capital: Brussels Jazz Festival, River Jazz Festival and Django Folies.
Django Folies / 11 - 29 JanuaryDjango Reinhardt was a fabulous Jazz guitarist of Musette and gypsy music reworked in a new genre of music: Hot Club Jazz or Gypsy Swing.
In 1994 Brosella decided to start the Django Folies, an annual festival that displays his musical style and commemorates its anniversary.

www.brosella.beRiver Jazz Festival / 13 - 28 JanuaryFor this third edition you can enjoy it in three different halls (Jazz station, Senghor and Marni), about 14 concerts that include David Linx, Nelson Veras and Stephen Galland Duo, Marco Mezquida and Muscia Nuda.
This year during the festival Chet Baker and Nicholas Thys will be honored.

The third edition of this festival is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Jazz music. It was precisely 100 years ago that the first jazz disc was released.
The youth Belgian and international talents of Jazz will be present at Flagey. Some of the names that you could possibly hear are, Roy Hargrove, Avishai Cohen, Brussels Jazz Orchestra fet Bert Joris, Hareell Quinn Bachand.
